About the Role
You will be joining a newly formed, dynamic team of eight, bringing together a diverse range of skills and experiences. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with strong administrative abilities and exceptional communication skills. In this role, you will provide vital support to the HR Manager, managing a high-volume inbox and handling a variety of correspondence. Strong written communication is essential, as letter writing will be a key aspect of your responsibilities. We are looking for someone who is proactive, adaptable, and ready to make an immediate impact in a fast-paced environment.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Provide high-level administrative support to the Employee Relations (ER) team, including coordinating recruitment processes to ensure seamless and efficient hiring practices.
- Register employees for training and professional development courses, maintaining accurate attendance records in HR databases.
- Maintain and update employee records, including data entry, e-filing, and regular HR system updates, to support accurate reporting for the Manager of Employee Engagement.
- Prepare and distribute key reports and reminders, such as probationary reviews and employee milestones.
- Serve as the first point of contact for the ER team, managing inquiries and ensuring timely responses to requests.
- Contribute to various projects as required, supporting the organisation’s strategic and operational goals.
- Undertake additional administrative tasks as needed, including minute-taking, filing, and coordinating meeting rooms and catering.
- The ability to commence in this role immediately
- Demonstrated experience in a similar Human Resources/Employee Relations Administration role
- Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Office skills
- Confident with technology and CRM systems, numerical and analytical skills
- Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information
- Ability to display resilience and work under pressure ensuring strict deadlines are met
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
