Are you an experienced Fund Accountant looking for your next exciting opportunity? Our client, a leading property business based in the heart of Sydney CBD, is seeking a motivated and detail oriented Senior Accountant to join their dynamic team.
About the role:As a Senior Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in managing the financial reporting and accounting processes for a diverse portfolio of real estate investments. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners, ensuring the accuracy and compliance of financial statements and reports.
Key responsibilities:- Prepare and review financial statements for property funds
- Manage month-end and year-end reporting processes
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and accounting standards
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management
- Prepare investor reports and assist with audits
- Monitor performance and maintain fund financial models
- CPA/CA qualified (or equivalent)
- Big 4 background highly regarded
- Proven experience in fund accounting, ideally within real estate or property funds
- Strong knowledge of Australian accounting standards and tax compliance
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Yardi, MRI or similar)
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
- Salary of $120K- 130K + Super
