Description:

Are you an experienced Document Controller with a strong background in the construction industry? We are partnering with a leading construction company to find a skilled and organised Document Controller to manage the efficient flow of project documentation. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a keen eye for detail, who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage all project-related documentation, ensuring that all documents are properly indexed, stored, and easily accessible.

  • Track and control the distribution of documents to project teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.

  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company standards, and project-specific documentation procedures.

  • Maintain document version control and ensure that all updates and changes are properly tracked.

  • Organise, file, and archive documents, including drawings, contracts, permits, and project reports.

  • Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure all documents are submitted, reviewed, and approved on time.

  • Provide general administrative support for the project team, including preparing reports, correspondence, and presentations.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Document Controller, particularly within the construction industry.

  • Familiarity with construction documentation and relevant industry standards.

  • Proficient in document control systems and software, with advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.

  • Knowledge of construction-related documentation such as contracts, technical drawings, change orders, and permits.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with project teams and external parties.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • A proactive attitude with the ability to anticipate and address potential issues in documentation workflows.
