The Opportunity:
We are currently seeking passionate and reliable Care Service Employees to join our team. Our Care Service Employees are responsible for providing outstanding personal care that meets the needs of our residents, in line with our values and policies. This role is recruiting on Casual Basis with opportunity to Permanent Part-time, located in the Heart of Punchbowl.
About the role:
• Deliver personalised care to residents in a kind, caring and respectful manner.
• Provide quality care to residents in line with the Australian Aged Care and Quality Standard
• Encourage and support residents with appropriate levels of activities, in conjunction with the Recreational Activities Officer
• Provide domestic services to support quality care for residents.
• Complete relevant documentation on the appropriate system, including completing monitoring chart, record and report updates, and changes in resident's health and well -being.
• Attend all required training by St Charbel’s Care Centre
• Comply with the requirements of the current Work Health and Safety regulations and processes including the health and safety of yourself and others
What we’re looking for:
• Certificate III or IV in Aged Care (medication competency desired but not essential)
• Experience with Aged Care IT systems
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Strong commitment to person-centred care
• Dedication to WHS requirements including manual handling and infection control.
Desirable:
• Ability to speak Arabic highly regarded.
