About the Role:
As a Disability Support Worker at Maxlife Care, you will be responsible for:
- Providing in-home care and assisting participants with daily tasks such as meal preparation, personal care, and medication administration.
- Supporting with domestic duties to maintain a safe and comfortable home environment.
- Empowering participants to achieve their personal goals and fostering independence.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- At least 1 year of experience in the disability sector.
- Experience working with clients with PEG feeding is highly beneficial.
- Previous experience with mobility aids and hoists is required.
- Valid CPR and First Aid certificates.
- A Certificate III in Disability (or similar) or higher.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build meaningful connections with participants.
- A commitment to Person-Centered Practices, advocating for the autonomy and well-being of each individual.
- Organizational skills and a proactive approach to care delivery.
- NDIS Workers Check.
- A valid NSW Driver’s License (or equivalent) and access to your own car is desirable.
