Due to grow continuous growth, they are seeking a dedicated and analytical Commercial Pricing Analyst to join the pricing team.Reporting directly to the Pricing Manager, the Commercial Pricing Analyst will play a pivotal role in driving pricing strategies and optimising profitability for the company. This position offers an exciting opportunity for an individual with strong analytical skills and a strategic mindset to contribute to the company's success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse market trends, competitor pricing strategies, and customer behaviors to inform pricing decisions
- Develop and maintain pricing models to support pricing strategies and ensure competitiveness in the market
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, and finance to align pricing strategies with business objectives
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of existing pricing strategies, making recommendations for adjustments as needed
- Conduct pricing reviews and simulations to assess the potential impact of pricing changes on profitability
- Generate regular reports and presentations to communicate pricing insights and recommendations to key stakeholders
- Assist in the implementation of pricing initiatives and processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness
- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in pricing and recommend enhancements to pricing methodologies
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field
- 2-3 years of experience in a pricing analysis or related role, preferably within the manufacturing sector
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, including the ability to create complex formulas, pivot tables, and macros
- Experience with SAP or other ERP systems is highly desirable
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and synthesize large datasets
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex pricing concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and precision
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
