Description:
4impact is seeking an experienced Software Tester.Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Software Engineers to define, develop, and execute system, integration, and performance testing for API projects.
- Contribute to performance and security testing.
- Investigate defects and drive corrective actions.
- Support testing tooling and automation frameworks as needed.
- Provide guidance on test strategies to mitigate risks in Agile teams.
- Strong testing background with knowledge of test methodology and traceability.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams to create and execute test cases.
- Experience with API testing, particularly in banking or financial services (e.g., Bank APIs, NPP, Open Banking).
- Experience in reducing testing cycle times.
- Familiarity with BDD testing and test automation.
- Proficiency with tools like Jira, SharePoint, Confluence, Gherkin, Postman, JMeter, and others.
- Experience in Agile delivery and test/defect management using JIRA.
- Salary: AUD $120,000 per year salary annually exclusive of superannuation
- Location: Brisbane, QLD, 4000
- Contract: Full-time role
