HCD Admin
Local Peoples is a preferred partner for the Australian Federal Governments Department of Health and Aged Care’s Human Centred Design (HCD) Centre of Excellence (CoE). We are supporting the department’s implementation of the Aged Care Reform Act to design solutions to the Royal Commission into Aged Care.
We are seeking multiple junior level HCD admin to join the Local Peoples team to be embedded with our clients and contribute to the development and delivery of impactful Human-Centered Design (HCD) initiatives. These roles are ideal for adaptable and proactive individuals with deep expertise in one HCD competency and are eager to work across diverse projects.
Key Responsibilities

Manage and organise user research and design artefacts and resources.

Support user research and service design activities.

Assist in planning and coordinating stakeholder workshops , user research , and co-design sessions .

Oversee the research participant recruitment process , including identifying and engaging participants.

Develop productive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Provide coordination and support for program activities.
Desirable Skills and Experience
-
Knowledge of user research planning, facilitation, and synthesis .

Basic understanding of HCD and experience working in a multidisciplinary team (MDT) .

Familiarity with service design practices (e.g., journey mapping).

Skills in tools such as Miro and Figma .

Experience assisting in the creation of program documentation, including reports and presentations.
Residency and Clearance

Must have Baseline Clearance or be able to obtain one
