About the role:
We are currently seeking a Drill Maintenance Supervisor on an 8 Days on, 6 Days off roster. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance, servicing, and repair of drill rigs to ensure operational efficiency and equipment reliability. You will lead a team of technicians, coordinate planned and unplanned maintenance activities, and uphold safety and performance standards across drilling operations.
About you:
As an experienced Drill Maintenance Supervisor, you will leverage your strong communication and leadership skills to build and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders. Your ability to manage and mentor a maintenance team will ensure efficient operations while minimizing machine downtime. With a strong commitment to safety and compliance, you will ensure all maintenance activities adhere to statutory safety requirements and industry best practices, contributing to a high-performing and safe work environment.
Duties:
- Lead and manage a skilled Drill Maintenance team, ensuring efficient and safe operations.
- Provide technical support for a fleet of Epiroc and Cat Drills, minimizing downtime.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and clients.
- Oversee asset management and parts ordering, ensuring availability of critical components.
- Manage maintenance planning and reporting, ensuring smooth operations and continuous improvement.

Skills and Experience:
- Relevant Australian Trade Certificate: Certificate III in Engineering - Fixed and Mobile Plant Mechanic (MEM31419), Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade (MEM30205) or Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology.
- Schedule 26 Statutory Supervisor Training (either completed or in progress)
- At least 3 years of experience in a supervisory role (desirable)
- Valid C class driver's license (HR licence preferred)
- Capable of passing a full medical, including drug and alcohol testing
- Able to provide a national police clearance (issued withinn the last 3 months)
- Working at Heights (desirable)
- Experience with AMT or similar Maintenance Management Systems.
- Full-time contract on an 8:6 roster.
