Our client, a leading financial services organization based in Brisbane, is seeking an experienced Information Architect to join their dynamic team. This is a key role where you will contribute to shaping the organization's long-term information architecture vision, ensuring it aligns with strategic goals while maintaining robust data governance, compliance, and risk management standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Promote and enforce data governance policies and standards across the organization.

Lead the development and implementation of data quality initiatives to improve data accuracy and consistency.

Design and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models.

Provide internal consulting on aspects of information architecture and technology roadmap.

Define and implement architecture governance and principles.
-
Develop strategic and operational plans to ensure the architecture meets business requirements.
-
Create roadmaps, frameworks, and end-state models to inform and guide significant technology decisions.

Support the organization's commitment to adhering to regulatory frameworks, including APRA's prudential standards.
-
Assist with the identification and assessment of operational, financial, and reputational risks.

Assist with APRA audits and examinations.
Essential Requirements
-
7+ years of experience in Enterprise or Information/Solutions architecture.

Strong understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks, such as TOGAF , and business/IT principles and processes.

Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to build consensus and articulate strategies and roadmaps.

Proven experience in business models, financial models, cost-benefit analysis, budgeting, and risk management.

Experience in translating complex business needs and technical change into clear, actionable direction.

Experience with digital application development for both external customers and internal business users.

Proven ability in designing solutions that integrate multiple lines of business applications.

Experience with AWS or GCP solutions and cloud migration strategies.

Knowledge of the insurance or financial services industries.

Strong Data experience: Metadata Management, Data Integration, Data Security
