An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Account Manager to join our team in Perth. You will be responsible for the daily management and administration of a portfolio of WA local governments, ensuring that their risk management and protection needs are identified and met.
We will count on you to:
- Maintain relationships with members, insurers and other key stakeholders (internal and external), representing LGIS in a professional manner
- Manage the insurance placement of unique risks which sit outside of the mutual
- Act as a trusted advisor to members on all their protection and risk management enquiries, and connect them to specialist teams within LGIS as required
- Maintain comprehensive client data on LGIS systems, facilities, and databases
- Provide guidance to an Account Executive to support their learning and development
- Proactively assist the team to meet the annual new business target
- Ensure all documentation is prepared in accordance with company service and compliance procedures and tools
- Support team to ensure compliance with all specified business management processes
What you need to have?
- Demonstrated success in managing team relationships and senior level client relationships, with a focus on exceptional service
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience within the insurance industry
- Strong market relationships and experience with the placement and servicing of large and complex clients
- Excellent technical skills across property, motor, financial lines, workers compensation, accident and health and casualty classes of insurance
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills both on individual and small group basis
- Proficiency in all MS Office products and Outlook
