What You’ll Do

We are currently looking for an Administration Partner to join our Sydney office on a 4-day-per-week, 12-month contract basis. The role of Administration Partner at Alexion plays a crucial role in supporting business operations and managing office administration.

You will work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure processes run efficiently and effectively.

Essential for the role

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in an administrative support role.

  • Strong organisational and administrative skills with a commitment to quality and attention to detail.

  • Proven ability to handle rapidly changing priorities and work under pressure.

  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint).

  • Familiarity with MS Teams for virtual and in-person meetings.

  • Experience managing financial administration tasks, including expense claims, invoice processing, purchase requisitions, and vendor payments.

  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels and work both autonomously and collaboratively.

  • Strong time management and planning skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.

Desirable for the role

  • Experience using Concur (expenses and travel) and Coupa (purchase orders and invoices) or similar systems.

  • Understanding of the Medicines Australia Code of Conduct, particularly in relation to interactions with healthcare professionals.

  • BA/BS or Diploma in Business Administration is highly regarded but not mandatory.
