Payroll Recovery Services delivers Queensland Health's overpayment and loan management function, striving to deliver quality, responsible, accountable and outcome-focussed recovery services. As Case Manager, you will support this objective by providing advice which relates to the complex case management and the continuous improvement of Payroll Recovery Services. You will manage the timeliness and quality of escalations, document and review business processes and maintaining the unit's online collaboration portal.
What you'll do
- Undertake regular data analysis on complex overpayment and payroll data to support recovery processes.
- Prepare and process documentation and supporting evidence for the verification and recovery of overpayments or to escalate cases to executive stakeholders.
- Assess repayment plans and other requests to ensure compliance with relevant policy and guidelines.
- Track and record documentation using electronic and manual processes in accordance with Queensland Health record keeping procedures.
- Develop and maintain supporting tools and resources for business process and maintain the Payroll Recovery Services online collaboration portal in SharePoint.
- Participate in the unit's process and quality assurance activities, including identifying opportunities for continuous process improvement, focussing on leveraging available technology and recommending innovative solutions.
About you
We are searching for someone who:
- Demonstrated highly developed writing, communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills appropriate to a client-focussed environment of change and continuous improvement.
- Knowledge or demonstrated ability to rapidly acquire knowledge of, business process modelling techniques to document, analyse and publish business processes, and provide sound advice to support continuous improvement.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate and prioritise workload, including analysis, verification, preparation of reports/ recommendations and record keeping.
- Demonstrated ability to operate within a relationship- based culture in a customer service team, involving active and regular communication and supporting management to deliver expected outcomes.
