Reporting to the General Manager – Enterprise Risk Management, we're seeking a collaborative and experienced National Risk & Resilience Business Partner to facilitate our business continuity and enterprise risk management efforts. You'll work closely with stakeholders across the organization to develop and implement plans that ensure we can continue to deliver exceptional care, no matter what challenges we face.
You will ensure all aspects St Vincent’s Risk Management, business continuity, crisis management and security frameworks and associated processes are compliant with applicable laws, regulations, standards, and government policies.
This is a Permanent Full Time position based in any of our Group Head Offices in Brisbane, Melbourne or Sydney on a hybrid working arrangement. Domestic travel will be required in this role.
Key responsibilities of the role:
- Grow and support a positive risk culture across the organisation
- Champion the design and use of risk systems and tools and lead the continuous improvement of system capabilities
- Provide specialist advice and guidance to executives, managers and teams to identify risks and initiate actions to mitigate risks and strengthen controls, including issues identified through audits
- Provide specialist advice to improve St Vincent’s crisis leadership, business continuity and security capability
- Support the design and implementation of a National Security Risk Management Framework, National Business Continuity planning and Business Continuity and Disaster planning activities across St Vincent’s
- Lead projects as directed by the General Manager – Enterprise Risk Management and engage collaboratively with cross-functional teams within the organisation, ensuring high quality relationships are developed and maintained with key internal stakeholders
- Proactively develop trusted advisor relationships with senior management to effectively influence positive changes
- Respond to requests for assistance and support from key stakeholders to the agreed standards and timeframes
Things that work for us:
- At least 7+ years demonstrated experience in successfully designing and implementing effective enterprise risk management programs, plans, guidelines, practices and electronic systems/tools
- Demonstrated ability to drive performance and realise value from all areas across the organisation
- Comprehensive understanding of the risks which affect the Health and Aged Care sectors
- Detailed working knowledge of applicable risk, business continuity and security standards
- Tertiary qualifications in relevant disciplines of corporate governance, risk management, business continuity and/or assurance
- Post-graduate qualifications in risk, business continuity, disaster and emergency management, or other relevant governance-related discipline
- Professional membership in relevant discipline (e.g. Risk Management Institute of Australia, Governance Institute of Australian, Business Continuity Institute and/or Institute of Risk Management)
