About the role
The TAFE Project Support Officer is responsible for providing engagement and project support for TAFE Executive. You will also provide specialised administrative coordination and support for TAFE engagement and communications plans and activities, events, awards and capability development programs.
You will:

plan, coordinate and deliver annual TAFE Awards for Excellence program;

coordinate and provide administrative and writing support for submissions in internal University and external award programs;

plan, coordinate and communicate events on behalf of TAFE Executive;

manage enquiries and feedback from staff and stakeholders through Team TAFE and TAFE events; and
-
coordinate and provide support and subject matter expertise for communication materials and engagement plans.
About you
The TAFE Project Support Officer reports to and receives general direction from the Manager, TAFE Strategic Initiatives. The position will work closely with other members of the TAFE Executive, senior staff within Federation TAFE and across the University, as well as external stakeholders associated with TAFE events and initiatives.
You will possess:
-
experience in providing project support functions to senior staff within an organisation;

experience in planning, coordinating and delivering events and liaising effectively with both internal and external stakeholders;

experience writing applications and submissions according to criteria, including collecting analysing and fact checking data from a variety of resources; and
-
written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills at a senior level with ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships.
