About the Role
Under the guidance of the Footbridge CCU Nurse Unit Manager, Consultant Psychiatrist, and the Senior Clinical Psychologist, the incumbent will provide a range of high quality psychological interventions to residents of the service including; assessments, specialist interventions, case consultation and participate in a multidisciplinary team approach.
- Ensure high quality comprehensive assessments including clinical diagnosis, psychological and personality assessments are conducted expediently
- Provide psychology expertise and consultation to Footbridge CCU, including in hand-overs, clinical reviews, case planning meetings and other group meetings.
- Participate in the intensive residential Recovery Review assessment process.
Classifications for this position will range from Psychologist Grade 2 PK1 - PK4 ($94,478 - $106,906 per annum pro rata)
Your Contribution
- Registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) under the Health Practitioner Regulation National Law Act (2009) as a general psychologist.
- Practice endorsement with AHPRA as a Clinical Psychologist or eligibility to enter a Clinical Psychology registrar program with the Psychology Board of Australia
- Masters Degree or Doctorate in Clinical Psychology recognized by Australian Psychology Accreditation Council (APAC)
- Current Victorian drivers license
- A valid Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check, or willing to obtain

About Footbridge CCU
Footbridge CCU is a 20 bed residential community service, providing support and treatment for people living with serious mental health issues, and with co-existing diagnoses, and complex psycho-social issues.
The service is staffed 24/7 and the team is multi-disciplinary. We operate on the strengths model of recovery orientated practice.
