Located in the Organisational Development (OD) unit of the People Strategy & Operations division. Contributing to the progress of learning and organisational development strategies to meet L&OD commitments in the Department's People Strategy Operations branch.

About the Role
We are a dynamic and motivated team currently seeking another high-performing individual who has a can-do-attitude and is excited to be on the journey of building the learning and OD function.
This role contributes to the successful delivery a range of learning and development programs. This may include key L&OD projects led by the unit such as: the design, delivery, and evaluation of impactful learning programs, including eLearning solutions, managing end-to-end L&OD project deliverables, and evaluating the success of training initiatives and strong stakeholder engagement
In addition, the role is responsible for providing support to people managers across corporate areas of the department to ensure high quality, practical and effective L&OD approaches are understood and incorporated into business-as-usual practices.
The role requires a strong team player with exceptional skills in collaboration and relationship building, who is motivated by driving positive change within an organisation, and who gains a sense of achievement from successfully seeing a project through to completion.
Capabilities
The successful person is results orientated, excellent at communicating and building partnerships across organisational areas, have sound written and verbal communication and research skills. Implementing timely and practical approaches to L&OD programs aligned to organisational vision and strategy is key to the role's success.
We have a minimum of 3 days in the office located adjacent Treasury Gardens in East Melbourne.
What we are looking for:
* Experience working across a range of learning and organisational development areas including, but not limited to design, delivery, facilitation and evaluation of impactful learning programs.
* Experience and understanding of L&OD programs such as: Leadership, Learning and Development, Employment Engagement Survey, Performance Development Program, Onboarding/Offboarding, Induction to be able to create supporting learning solutions / resources to enhance the programs.
* Strong OD advisory and consultancy skills to be able to respond to client requirements and then be able to develop and design meaningful solutions.
* Experience in delivering strategic organisational change solutions.
* Comprehensive knowledge of L&OD frameworks.
* Team player motivated by driving positive organisational change.
* Strong facilitation, communication, research and evaluation skills.
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
* Relevant tertiary qualification Human Resources, Psychology, Training, or Education and/or
* Relevant tertiary qualification in learning and/or organisational development.
* While experience in eLearning design is not essential, it is desired.
