We are seeking a highly skilled Network Security & System Administrator to identify, remediate, and secure vulnerabilities across network and Windows system infrastructures. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in protecting organizational assets, ensuring robust network security, and maintaining Windows environments.This role requires expertise in network access control (ACLs), VLAN segmentation, privileged access management, Windows server hardening, and patch management to fortify IT infrastructure against cyber threats. Key Responsibilities:
Implement VLANs and ACLs for network segmentation.Configure firewall rules to block unauthorised access.Disable deprecated network protocols (e.g., SMBv1, Telnet, HTTP).Ensure secure network architecture to reduce attack surfaces.Harden Windows Server configurations.Enforce patch management policies for operating systems.Prioritize vulnerabilities based on risk impact.Work with teams to remediate identified issues.Track and verify successful remediation efforts. Skills & Experience Required✔ 5+ years of experience in networking and system administration (mandatory).✔ Strong expertise in firewalls, VLANs, ACLs, and Windows/Linux security hardening.✔ Proficiency in patch management, Active Directory security, and access controls.✔ Familiarity with vulnerability assessment tools and remediation processes.✔ Ability to work independently and remediate critical security vulnerabilities.
