The Role
Leading independent girls' school, Camberwell Girls Grammar School, presents an opportunity for a Performing Arts Administrator to join our team on a full-time basis. Reporting to the Directors of Music and the Head of Drama, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support to ensure the efficient operation of the Music and Performing Arts Departments.
You will make an impact by:
- Supporting the coordination of the School’s Music, Drama and Performing Arts programs and events, including Music Concerts, House Music, School Productions, Music Scholarship auditions and Music, Speech & Drama examinations
- Providing high level administrative support and assistance, including diary management
- Managing the use of the Performing Art’s rooms and teaching spaces
- Acting as the primary interface for all current and prospective parents and Instrumental / Speech & Drama Tutors, regarding the School’s Private Tuition program
- Preparing and coordinating Music Camp, trips, excursions and incursions
- Managing and maintaining the inventory of music equipment, instruments and resources and coordinating the repairs and hiring of instruments
To be successful in this role…
You are an experienced Administrator, who has a strong understanding of the complexities of the operational requirements of a music and performing arts department. You possess excellent interpersonal skills, a keen attention to detail, and outstanding organisational and planning abilities. You are known for your initiative and are often described by others as friendly, professional, and team-oriented. Additionally, you have a proven track record in process improvement and streamlining systems to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
You will have:
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Strong computer literacy with experience using Microsoft Office
- Current Working with Children Check
- Current Criminal Record Check
