We bring our purpose to life via three shared values: We walk the talk, turn over every stone and keep it human.Job DescriptionAs a Sales Executive for Nine in Publishing, you will be responsible for campaigns and deal sales across Australia's #1 Metro Mastheads, the Sydney Morning Herald and The Age, as well as Australia's national Business Masthead, The Australian Financial Review. In addition to our Mastheads, Publishing Sales Executives are responsible for sales across the Nine.com.au portfolio, which includes 9News, 9Honey, Wide World Of Sports and more.You will work within a fast-paced, high-performing and energetic sales team who push boundaries and lead the way!Day to day duties include:Effectively managing a pipeline of briefs and proactive ideas to meet and exceed revenue targets, whilst accurately forecasting revenue to the businessCommunicate product value in order to educate clients and deliver on product salesMaintain a strong knowledge of online video and display, native content, performance media and programmatic buyingWork with several departments and stakeholders to deliver leading solutions for your partnersDeliver solutions to your clients that are strategically and creatively led showcasing your deep knowledge of your client’s businessWork closely with our Powered team to deliver new and relevant opportunities for brandsFacilitate the sale of program sponsorships, sports sponsorships and spot packagesMaintain client and account listsQualificationsYou will be a solid team player, who shows commitment to the team's purpose and effectively contributes and shares skills/knowledge with others. You’ll have an ability to absorb information and act accordingly.You will be proactive in discussing solutions and raising ideas for improvement in a positive and professional way, allowing you to build strong relationships.What we're looking for:2+ years media experience, preferably within Sales or Digital (essential)Excellent communication, relationship and account management skillsProven ability of delivering revenue success and forecastingStrong analytical skills, ability to understand revenue trends and use data to influence sales strategyHighly organised with exceptional attention to detail and ability to meet deadlinesStrong Excel and PowerPoint skillsGood understanding of the digital media landscapeStrong presentation skills.
