What Will You Be Doing?
In this role, you will work closely with a highly respected team leader and gain invaluable Project Management experience. This is the perfect role for someone transitioning from an engineering and administration discipline and wanting to advance their career into project management in the long term.
As a Project Coordinator, you will be pivotal in smoothly delivering a large, complex project. Working closely with project managers, technical teams, and clients, you'll ensure that administrative and operational tasks are handled precisely.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain project documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Coordinate schedules, meetings, and communications between stakeholders.
  • Assist in preparing contracts, reports, and progress claims.
  • Track project timelines and budgets, providing regular updates to the team.
  • Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and data centre teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Support the team with general administrative tasks as required.
The foundation for success:
  • Proven experience in a contract administrative role within construction with a main contractor.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction or Electrical Engineering.
  • Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with project management software.
  • A proactive attitude with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
  • Complex construction project experience in hospitals, prisons or airports.
  • You must have full working rights for Australia to be considered for this role.
