On account of continued growth an opportunity has arisen for an engaging commercial lawyer to join the organisation’s welcoming and collaborative in-house legal team in Melbourne’s CBD.
The position reports to a Senior Managing Legal Counsel and provides plenty of senior stakeholder engagement and interaction.
The successful candidate will be a commercially focussed lawyer with general commercial law, commercial contracting and corporate advisory experience and have a minimum of 3 years’ PQE from a well-regarded commercial practice or in-house environment.
Key responsibilities

• Provide legal and strategic advice and support
• Advise on, negotiate and draft a wide variety of agreements (heavy focus on technology and procurement contracts), policies, processes and tender documents
• Point of contact for internal clients and external parties across the operations portfolio
• Develop relationships with key stakeholders and their teams
• Enhance and maintain template documents
• Liaise with external advisors
• Provide training where required
