Machinery Advancements
We are in the process of receiving and installing a state-of-the-art Biesse production cell, including a Rover A FT CNC, Winstore x3 board inventory system, and a Stream A edgebander. Installation will commence in April. This new system, one of only five in Queensland, will allow the Machinist to significantly reduce manual handling while producing high-quality cabinet components. All training will be provided by Biesse on the completion of the machinery installation.
The Role
We are looking for a highly motivated and reliable Woodmachinist to join our growing team of skilled tradespeople. The successful candidate would find themselves involved in the implementaton of our new Biesse production cell and workshop re-configuration. Their day to day would be operating the CNC, Edgebander, Winstore and dressing solid timber inconjunction with a Woodmachinist apprentice.
The successful applicants will have:
- A recognised wood machinist or cabinetmaking trade qualification or equivalent
- Preferred 5+ years of Woodmachining experience
- Experience with dressing solid timber and working with timber veneers is advantageous
- An eye for detail and a high standard of quality control
