Description:
Procurement and Facilities Services is looking for a Program Director to join their team on a temporary full-time basis, until 31 December 2025, unless otherwise determined.As the Program Director you will ideally have demonstrated experience in large building/corporate office refurbishments. In this role you will develop and implement program plans, sound governance and relevant frameworks to ensure the efficient and effective management and delivery of the department's CBD Accommodation Strategy.
You will partner with key internal and external stakeholders with a focus on collaboration and the achievement of departmental CBD Accommodation Strategy objectives. The Director reports to the Chief Procurement Officer/Executive Director Procurement and Facilities Services.

About The Role
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Represent the department's interest through consultation, negotiation and liaison including, but not limited to, Queensland Government entities (QGAO), building owners, QIC, DoE representatives and other stakeholders as required.Ensure appropriate corporate governance structures are established and maintained as approved by government.Manage all related program and project activities to ensure achievement of agreed objectives and outcomes are met within budget and on time.Identify risk issues and mitigation options in relation to the program/scope of works.Develop and manage a suitable communication framework and consultation process including preparation and distribution of regular progress reports and updates, and minutes for all stakeholder and construction site meetings as required.Develop and execute procurement strategies for any ancillary contracts and purchases if required.Provide high level quality advice to senior management, influencing the effectiveness of the department's business processes and ensuring the efficient and effective management and delivery of the ICT platform and associated services for the department.Assess the effectiveness of customer service delivery channels, developing and implementing business improvement initiatives to ensure ongoing best practice standards are maintained.Develop the capacity of others through effective mentoring, coaching and professional development.
