About the role:
Ecolab are looking for a QC Technician to join our Quality Assurance Team in Darra. This is a wonderful opportunity to put your analytical chemistry skills to work in a role that will see you working with production to ensure quality and process guidelines are followed, completing performance testing, formula maintenance and approving raw materials. If you have some previous lab/chemical experience, and are looking for a hands-on role working on interesting tasks, don’t miss this chance to join Ecolab.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Analysing samples from each production batch
- Start and end of line testing
- Provide technical support to sales and service team
- Investigating and documentation of findings
- Raw materials testing and approval against specifications
- Troubleshoot wet chemistry and instrumental analytical methods
- Keeping records and writing reports
- Mentor QC technicians and other team members
Our ideal candidate may have:
- An interest or experience in chemistry
- Demonstrate sound knowledge of good laboratory practices
- Computer / systems savvy
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Inquisitive nature
- Attention to detail
- Self-motivation
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to handle a high workload
- Demonstrated ability to work independantly and collaboratively in a team environment
