Our client, a leading Toowoomba professional services firm, is seeking an Operations Manager to lead their team. In this role, you will lead, oversee and improve the firm’s day-to-day functions, managing office operations, ensuring regulatory compliance and enhancing overall efficiency and output. This role requires leadership skills, strategic thinking and the ability to implement best practices that support the firm’s objectives.
About the role:
Working closely with the owners of the business your responsibilities will include:
- Managing, optimising and capitalising on the workflow;
- Overseeing all office operations, ensuring efficiency and compliance;
- Managing HR and IT functions and assisting the CFO with the overall finances;
- Developing and implementing operational strategies to enhance productivity;
- Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and firm policies;
- Working closely with senior leadership to support business goals; and
- Providing structure and overall management.
To be successful in this role, you must have proven experience as an Operations Manager, GM or CEO, preferably in a professional services firm and the ability to implement compliance and regulations. Excellent leadership, problem-solving and communication skills are essential, as well as experience in financial management and understanding of profit drivers. Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior leadership role;
- Proven operational management experience;
- Interpersonal skills and ability to motivate teams;
- Knowledge of compliance and accreditation standards; and
- Relevant personal development, preferably in operations/general management.
