The Role
- Process and track supplier and subcontractor invoices, ensuring timely and accurate payments
- Prepare and review progress claims and payment applications in line with project milestones and in collaboration with the project managers and coordinators
- Track retentions, variations, and outstanding claims, ensuring all payments are accounted for.
- Assist in financial reporting by preparing summaries of project expenditure and revenue projections.
- Monitor cost entries, budget allocations, and expense tracking for multiple projects.
- Provide financial reports and analysis to project teams and senior management to support decision-making.
- Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency in payment and claims management
The Criteria
- Tertiary qualification in construction, finance, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in contracts administration, ideally within a civil or Tier 1 firm
- Proficiency in financial reporting, progress claims, and cost management
- High attention to detail and accountability in financial oversight
- Ability to work in a team environment and uphold integrity in all dealings
