The Role at a Glance

Executive Support & Administration:

  • Manage and optimise the GCIO’s calendar, meetings, and priorities to enable executive focus
  • Assist in preparing high-quality reports, board papers, and governance documentation
  • Oversee travel coordination, expense management, and logistical planning for the IT leadership team
  • Handle sensitive business communications with discretion and professionalism

Strategic & Operational Coordination

  • Support the GCIO in tracking key initiatives, action items, and project milestones
  • Act as a liaison between IT leadership, senior executives, and external stakeholders
  • Assist in data collation, board reporting, and strategic planning documentation

Governance, Compliance & Financial Administration:

  • Ensure governance excellence by coordinating executive meetings, risk reviews, and compliance reporting
  • Track and manage IT leadership credit card expenses, reconciliations, and financial submissions
  • Work closely with Finance teams to align IT budgeting and forecasting

Process Improvement & Digital Productivity:

  • Leverage digital tools to streamline workflows and enhance efficiency
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements in executive administration and governance

About You

You are a high-performing professional who thrives in environments that demand excellence, discretion, and innovation. Your ability to stay one step ahead, think critically, and communicate effectively makes you indispensable.

  • 5+ years’ experience as an Executive Assistant, ideally in a corporate, technology, or professional services environment
  • Strong governance and compliance experience
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • High attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to anticipate needs
  • Financial acumen (expense management, reconciliations, financial reporting experience preferred)
  • Ability to handle confidential business matters with discretion
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, evolving organisation
