Administration Officer wanted for ASAP start - Must have some experience with Accountancy/Invoices & reconciliation in order to be considered for this role.
This role is predominantly checking, cross-referencing and raising invoices/reports for Subcontractors employed by the client. This is NOT an accountancy role - however in order to be successful, the candidate would need to have some prior exposure or knowledge.

The client is looking for an Administration Officer with Accounts/Reconciliation experience to start ASAP, initially on a 6 month Casual Contract with a view to PERMANENT placement after completion.
Description
The main purpose/duties of this role is to help the company keep track of all subcontractor cost transactions that have taken place and make payment to subcontractors correctly on time, liaising with Accounts Payable and the Clients Business Support Manager.
As a key member of the Business Support Team, you will be responsible but not limited to ensure all subcontractor invoices are reconciled and forwarded to accounts payable on time.
- Receive site attendance registers and match to Rostering system, Cortex shifts weekly (Subject to cease once Security sign on/off process is implemented to acceptable level)
- Ensure all subcontractors invoices have correct amount, date and description. if not, request amendment or credit note.
- Sign off reconciled subcontractor invoices and forward it to accounts payable together with the matched Cortex report
- Save all signed invoices and Cortex reports in OneDrive
- Know clear reason for unreconciled service and resolve the issues
- Maintain subcontractors data in Cortex
- Liaise with subcontractors and operation teams to verify for disputes or inquiries concerning subcontractor invoice reconciliation
- Report weekly unreconciled amount from Cortex to Business Support Team
- Ad hoc as required includes team projects
The successful candidate:
- Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent resident with "FULL Right-to-Work" in Australia
- Experienced/Skilled with Microsoft Excel
- Have a MINIMUM of entry level Accounting experience in order to check/process/sign off on Subcontractor invoices and raise this with Accounts Payable. Reconiciliation experience is also essential

Job Offer
- Start asap
- 6 months temp-to-perm position. No working holiday visa.
- Monday to Friday. No public holiday
- 7 hours per day between 08:30 - 17:00 with 30minutes or 1hour unpaid lunch break
- 35 hours per week (7.6hrs x 5days = 38hrs when become permanent)
