About the role
Are you a digital communications expert passionate about driving engagement and making a real impact in public health? As a Digital Communications Adviser at BreastScreen SA, you will play a key role in implementing the organisation’s digital strategy, social media presence, and online communications . You will be responsible for monitoring BreastScreen SA’s digital communications strategy , ensuring content is engaging, effective, and aligned with organisational goals. Your expertise will help measure and enhance the success of digital platforms, ensuring the right messages reach the right audiences.
Beyond digital strategy, you will lead the coordination and delivery of internal and external communications activities , ensuring clear and impactful messaging across all channels. You will collaborate closely with key stakeholders to develop high-quality content and media materials while fostering strong community engagement. About You
We’re looking for a creative and strategic digital communications professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about using digital media to drive engagement. You will be a strong communicator with excellent organisational skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Digital Communication Expertise – Proven experience in social media strategy, digital media buying, website management (CMS/Microsoft SharePoint), and content creation , including graphic design, photo and video production.
- Strategic and Organised – Ability to implement organisation-wide digital strategies, manage multiple projects, and deliver results within tight deadlines.
- Strong Writing and Collaboration Skills – Exceptional ability to write with flair and creativity for digital platforms, while working collaboratively to contribute to integrated communications planning.
- Knowledge and Passion for Public Health – Understanding of BreastScreen SA’s program objectives , relevant government policies, and the role of social media in public health marketing.
A tertiary qualification in Communications, Marketing, or Graphic Design is highly desirable , as is experience in Adobe Creative Cloud and working in women’s health programs.
