About the Role
The EPA is seeking a Digital Communications Lead to manage content across multiple channels, including the EPA's website, SharePoint intranet, and document templates. This role ensures high-quality, consistent content that aligns with the EPA's branding and language style. Responsibilities include coordinating digital strategies, overseeing content updates, and providing technical advice on website and intranet functionality.
The role also involves maintaining document templates to ensure they are current and accessible for staff. The ideal candidate will have experience in digital content creation, SharePoint management, stakeholder collaboration, and performance analysis, with a focus on continuous improvement and enhancing communications.

The EPA is South Australia’s independent environment protection regulator. The organisation works to protect, restore and improve the environment through the risk-based regulation of pollution, waste, noise and radiation. The EPA works closely with industry, the community and government to protect the unique natural environment while supporting economic growth and improving wellbeing. The EPA is responsible for the administration of the Environment Protection Act 1993 (EP Act) and the Radiation Protection and Control Act 2021 (RPC Act) and also exercises responsibilities under other South Australian planning and environmental legislation.

Desirable Qualifications, Knowledge or Experience
A qualification in IT, communications, or related discipline is desirable.
Remuneration
ASO5 ($85,790 - $95,413 per annum) + 11.5% super to your choice of superfund.
Contract
Twelve (12) month contract and full time (37.5 hours per week).
Special Conditions
- This role has been designated as a Position of Trust pursuant to the standards required in the Australian Government Protective Security Policy Framework. A current National Police Clearance is essential.
- The incumbent will occasionally be required to travel to sites in country areas and interstate.
- The incumbent may be required to work out of hours and as the need arises.
- A current driver's licence is essential.
