Description:
The successful candidate will serve as the Tech Lead for the Oracle E-Business Suite, overseeing AP and Billing within a complex technical environment. Ideally, they will have experience in development and have recently transitioned into a leadership and architectural role.
- Creation of technical documentation to support the implementation of development outcomes.
- Define and Enforce coding and implementation standards.
- Play a leading role in Projects that support the objectives of our client.
- Assist in maintaining the overall stability of the Oracle business system, in addition to providing support as required to users.
KEY ACTIVITIES:
- Develops Oracle solutions by studying information needs; conferring with users; studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes; investigating problem areas; following the software development lifecycle.
- Determines operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions.
- Documents and demonstrates solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code.
- Responsible for Oracle system specifications, standards, and programming.
- Performs peer reviews of Oracle solutions to ensure fit for purpose and adherence to development/security guidelines.
- Raise change requests and manage deployment.
- Mentor and provide advice to application developers.
- Identify areas for process improvement and make recommendations.
- Actively support and contribute to the on-going development and refinement of standards and guidelines.
