Position Details
  • Employment Type: Full-Time (Part-Time or job share arrangements considered for suitable candidates)
  • Location: South of the river, within a general practice and urgent care setting
  • Compensation: Competitive hourly rate, negotiable based on experience
Key Responsibilities
  • Ultrasound Imaging: Perform high-quality general ultrasound examinations, including musculoskeletal, obstetric, and routine assessments.
  • Patient Care: Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout procedures, providing clear explanations and addressing any concerns.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with medical practitioners to interpret imaging results and contribute to patient diagnosis and treatment plans.
  • Compliance: Adhere to established protocols, maintaining strict workplace health, safety, and hygiene standards.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Education: Relevant tertiary degree in Medical Sonography.
  • Certification: Current registration with the Australian Sonographer Accreditation Registry (ASAR).
  • Experience: Proficiency in ultrasound techniques, preferably encompassing musculoskeletal and obstetric imaging.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a strong commitment to patient care.
  • Clearances: Valid Working with Children Check and recent Police Clearance Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
  • Flexibility: Availability to work varied hours to meet the needs of the practice and patient demand.
