An exciting opportunity for a Quality Coordinator to oversee and maintain quality systems within an aged care facility. This role ensures compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards, monitors clinical indicators, and drives continuous improvement initiatives to enhance resident care. As a Quality Coordinator, you will work closely with clinical teams, leadership, and governance managers to track key performance indicators, conduct audits, and implement best practices. This role is ideal for someone passionate about quality assurance, compliance, and improving aged care services.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor care quality metrics, including clinical outcomes, audits, and complaints.
- Ensure compliance with aged care regulations and internal policies.
- Collect, analyse, and report data on health outcomes, medication usage, and quality indicators.
- Conduct internal audits and surveys, reviewing feedback to identify areas for improvement.
- Report quality outcomes to senior management and stakeholders.
- Develop and implement action plans to enhance service delivery.
- Provide training and support to staff on quality systems and best practices.
- Collaborate with clinical teams, home managers, and governance committees to drive improvements.
- Maintain and update policies and procedures to ensure alignment with best practices.
- Experience in quality management, compliance, or governance within aged care, healthcare, or community services.
- Strong understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards and regulatory compliance.
- Experience in data collection, analysis, and reporting.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to conduct audits, identify risks, and implement improvement plans.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience in staff training and education related to quality and compliance.
- Familiarity with policy development and review processes.
- Clinical Qualification is desirable , but not essential.
