Join City of Moreton Bay as a Venue Support Officer, and help shape and enhance our communities for today and tomorrow.
As a Venue Support Officer, you will be the first point of contact for our visitors at the gallery and ultimately be responsible for providing them with memorable and positive gallery experiences. You will achieve this by:
- providing holistic and exceptional customer service to invite, engage and connect our visitors to our exhibitions.
- delivering and supporting gallery programs and events in addition to supporting the operations of the gallery to ensure a welcoming, safe and clean environment.
- assisting with the installation and de-installation of exhibitions
- actively contributing to a positive team environment.
The position will be rostered a minimum of 17 hours per week. The successful applicant will be required to work this set roster and be available to work any 5 out of 7 days as part of the ordinary hours. Click here to view roster.

About you
You will have an exceptional capacity and demonstrated experience providing face to face customer service in a fast-paced environment. Experience within cultural services or at a cultural facility or venue will be highly desirable, but not essential.
You will be naturally curious and intuitive with demonstrated ability and initiative to build relationships with a diverse audience. In addition, you are a respectful and friendly individual who can work autonomously, but also thrive working in a collaborative team.
Most importantly, to provide our visitors with memorable experiences, you must also have a genuine enthusiasm and love for art, with passion to see people connect with art.
