About the opportunity:

Position: Billing Coordinator Officer

Vacancy: Permanent Full-time / 76 hrs p.f

Location: Financial Accounting Unit / Nathan Business Centre / Townsville

Your contributions will be valued and impactful.

  • Salary range: $3481.60 to $3835.70 p.f. (AO4)
  • 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
  • 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation

Requirements:

Mandatory qualifications/ professional registration/ other requirements

  • While not mandatory, a relevant qualification would be well regarded.
  • Experience in a health care system or equivalent large organisation is desirable.
  • Highly regarded: Intermediate to advanced written and oral communication skills with the ability to interact professionally, maintain confidentiality and communicate sensitively with all levels of staff, patients and the general public.
  • Exceptional organisation and prioritisation skills and the ability to work autonomously to ensure efficient administrative outcomes. While not mandatory, a relevant qualification would be well regarded.
  • This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
  • Probation period may apply.
  • Pre-employment checks will be conducted.
