We believe in truly understanding the risks, issues and opportunities for our clients, and we offer industry insights to help build resilience and readiness in an uncertain environment. **What will your typical day look like?** • Advise clients on their operating model, embedding leading practice around governance, risks, controls and compliance • Lead and support transformational engagements with a wide variety of clients across a broad range of industry sectors • Use structured problem solving, data gathering and analysis techniques to resolve complex challenges • Be given the opportunity to help shape how Deloitte approaches and solves risk and regulatory challenges, including use of technology such as Generative AI • Mentor and coach junior staff in the early stages of their career • Build authentic and trusted relationships with our clients and the broader Deloitte firm • Contribute to the culture and development of wider team of peers outside of a project environment • Most importantly - have fun! **About the team** We are a leader in the Melbourne market, running and supporting large transformation projects with many iconic Victorian and national brands. We operate an outward-looking and global practice, part of the Deloitte Asia Pacific firm, bringing insights from every continent to our clients as well as providing our expertise across Australia and internationally. **Enough about us, let’s talk about you.** You may have all or some of the following skills / experience: _Advisory skills_ • Good commercial intelligence, an understanding of how large organisations operate • Passionate about making an impact at the top end of town • Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to make the complex simple • The ability to work in a digitally enabled environment, including implementation of data visualisations and digital tools to support business processes • The ability to “think on your feet” and react in real time to client questions and requests • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex situations and provide practical solutions • Proven stakeholder and change management skills • Workshop facilitation and making them interactive, client centred, and action focused • Experience in initiating, planning, executing and closing a project whilst providing visibility of project status • Sharing knowledge and developing people _Technical background_ We are a multidisciplinary team with a wide variety of backgrounds. No technical skills are a prerequisite, however we would value experience in: • Enterprise risk strategy and governance, risk and compliance, designing and implementing contemporary frameworks and operating models across the Three Lines of Defence • Experience in the financial services sectors, including banking, wealth and/or insurance • Regulatory review and response, including across different regulatory regimes applicable across the Financial Services sector, such as: o ASIC regulatory guidance requirements o APRA prudential standards such as CPS 220 (Operational Risk) and CPS 230 (Operational Resilience) • Control design, uplift and transformation
