Core Responsibilities - Coordinate, monitor, and authorize daily functional responsibilities across reconciliations, redistributing resources as necessary. - Identify, investigate, and resolve exceptions, ensuring timely and accurate deliverables. - Serve as a subject matter expert and resource for associates while maintaining the capability to complete output in a supporting role as necessary. Act as the primary escalation point for complex issues, addressing and resolving them promptly, and performing review controls. - Assist in training and cross-training unit, department crew members, and new crew members on various job responsibilities as assigned. - Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of current policies and procedures. - Ensure adherence to the risk and control framework established within the team. Understand audit requirements and ensure appropriate documentation is maintained to support audits, ensuring they are completed efficiently and according to established service levels. - Identify opportunities, make recommendations, and lead process improvement initiatives to gain efficiencies and ensure quality. Provide trend analysis and input for improvement. - Establish and maintain effective working relationships with both internal and external clients and business partners. Lead regular communication with banks to ensure the resolution of outstanding reconciliation items. - Participate in and/or lead special projects and perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications - Undergraduate degree or an equivalent combination of training and experience - Minimum two years of business related experience - High level analytical and problem solving - Ability to manage multiple priorities under strict deadlines - Excellent time management and organization skills - Ability to understand complex technical issues. - Proficiency with Microsoft applications preferred - Great leadership, excellent interpersonal and communication (oral and written) skills; team player with positive attitude
