Pinot & Picasso is offering a new and exciting opportunity for a General Manager to oversee the growth of the P&P brand in Australia & New Zealand. We're looking for a self-starter who is ready to drive impact in the Creative-Entertainment space and make this new role their own.

Working closely with the Founders of the Brand, the dream candidate will be given the autonomy to make their mark strategically, lead an excited and hungry team and inspire creativity with P&P brand across ANZ & in new markets internationally.


In the day-to-day, the General Manager will be responsible for overseeing the brand performance and growth of Pinot & Picasso, with the primary focus being driving revenue, executing strategy while optimising for operational efficiency and profitability. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and a proven track record in managing and scaling a multi-location business.

Key Responsibilities

1. Revenue Growth and Profitability

  1. Develop and execute a comprehensive business strategy in conjunction with the CEO & Shareholders to drive revenue growth across the Pinot & Picasso brand and studios.
  2. Analyse financial performance and implement initiatives to improve profitability, including cost control measures and pricing strategies.
  3. Identify new revenue streams, including product offerings, events, and partnerships and introduce them to the organisation.

2. Operational Excellence

  1. Oversee day-to-day operations of the company, ensuring all processes are efficient, scalable, and aligned with company standards.
  2. Implement and refine operational systems, including inventory management, staffing, and customer service protocols.
  3. Ensure compliance with legal, health, and safety regulations across all franchised and company owned locations.
  4. Co-ordinate regular site visits to Pinot & Picasso studios to assess operations and provide feedback to the relevant team members.

3. Leadership and Team Development

  1. Lead and inspire a team of managers and staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  2. Provide coaching, training, and professional development opportunities to ensure the team is equipped to achieve business objectives.
  3. Cultivate a strong company culture that reflects the values and mission of the brand.
  4. Assist in creating a career progression pathway plan including global opportunities for our team to grow in Australia, and abroad.

4. Customer Experience and Quality Assurance

  1. Ensure a consistently high level of customer satisfaction across all studio locations by implementing quality assurance measures.
  2. Use customer feedback and data analytics to continuously improve the customer experience and address any areas of concern.
  3. Continue building an automated customer feedback loop, making feedback on improvement faster with more impact.

5. Franchise Management and Support

  1. Provide leadership and support to franchise owners, ensuring they have the tools and resources needed to succeed.
  2. Monitor and evaluate the performance of franchise locations, implementing best practices and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and quality.
  3. Conduct regular site visits to franchised locations to assess operations and provide feedback.

6. Strategic Partnerships and Marketing

  1. Identify and establish strategic partnerships or opportunities that align with the company’s goals and enhance brand visibility.
  2. Work closely with the marketing team to develop and implement marketing campaigns that drive traffic, engagement, and sales.
  3. Lead efforts to expand the franchise network by identifying new markets.
  4. Work with suppliers to maximise efficiency and profitability through strategic agreement and programs to enhance outcomes.
  5. Develop and manage the company’s budget, ensuring financial targets are met.
  6. Prepare and present financial reports to the Shareholders and Leadership, providing insights and recommendations for growth.
  7. Manage relationships with key financial stakeholders, working closely with Shareholders while managing investors and banks.
  8. Work closely with the Finance team to manage cashflow in alignment with agreed forecasts and budgeting.
