The Position
Due to continued growth, our client is seeking an experienced Civil Foreman to join the team starting immediately. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse civil construction projects and contribute to the company’s commitment to quality and sustainability.
The Candidate
Key capabilities include:
- Oversee and coordinate daily construction activities, ensuring efficiency and quality.
- Mentor and guide and develop team members.
- Collaborate with client, project managers and estimators to meet deadlines and project objectives.
- Review specifications and designs to assist in planning and scheduling works on site and report potential risks with construction activities
- Complete initial set out of projects
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Civil Foreman within local council/Civil Infrastructure sector including hands-on involvement.
- Sound knowledge of road building, concreting, asphalt, drainage, street scaping and utility infrastructure.
- Knowledge of Sydney/NSW construction market and subcontractors.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
- The ability to positively influence and lead a team.
