Position Overview
As Parts Warehouse Operator, you are responsible for efficiently managing the receipt, storage, and distribution of parts, including inter-branch transfers and stock movements. You play a key role in maintaining warehouse organisation, ensuring accuracy in inventory handling, and upholding a safe and clean working environment. You are also responsible for reporting any maintenance requirements to the appropriate parties to support smooth warehouse operations.

Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
- Supply company technicians with parts
- Research and interpret parts as required
- Verify receipting-in of shipments and assist with the delivery to proper inventory locations
- Assists in keeping the warehouse clean and tidy
- Assist in yard and warehouse optimisation of the branch
- Identify back orders and shortages by advancing them to the manager
- Participate in training to maintain current product knowledge
- Facilitates the movements of stock and goods around the group of branches
The Ideal Candidate should have:
- Current forklift license
- A high level of initiative, organisation and time management skills
- Proficient data entry and computer skills
- Basic knowledge of parts and machinery
