The EmployerBindiwalla Pastoral is a dynamic agricultural operation in the Forbes region, spread across five properties within 60km of one another. The operation is accredited for a feedlot with a total capacity of 700 head. In addition, it manages 300 breeder cows alongside backgrounding cattle.
A large focus for this operation is its cropping program, which generates feedlot commodities. This includes cultivating cereals, silage, hay, and grazing crops with 300 hectares under irrigation. Our clients are committed to continuous improvement and development, aiming to enhance their agricultural practices and overall business performance.
The Role
The successful candidate will be vital to the company's daily operations, with a focus on the livestock and cropping enterprises. This role includes responsibilities in the feedlot and general livestock care, as well as active involvement in the irrigation of both winter and summer crops, which may require after-hours attention to maintain optimal conditions.
Key tasks will include all aspects of processing and cattle handling, day-to-day feedlot and general farming duties, and various cropping duties such as sowing, spraying, and spreading.

The role will involve collaborating closely with two full-time staff members to achieve the client’s goals of business improvement and development. The ideal candidate will have a background in agricultural practices, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to advancing Bindiwalla Pastoral's objectives.
