About the role:
- Collaborate with a highly experienced Partner specialising in commercial deals .
- Oversee all legal aspects of business transactions , including contract drafting, negotiation, execution, and advising on regulatory compliance.
- Represent clients in commercial disputes , including contract issues, insolvency, and regulatory investigations.
- Work with a team focused on strategic thinking, problem-solving, and achieving practical commercial outcomes.
The ideal candidate:
- Experienced (3+ PQE) Commercial Lawyer
- Proven track record in commercial law (litigation and/or transactional), expertise in areas such as M&A transactions, capital raising, leasing, lending, general commercial contract review and drafting.
- A law degree from an accredited Australian university.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients and colleagues.
