About the Role
This is an integral role that supports the everyday operations of the office and customers. As the Office Manager, you are the go-to person in the Commercial, Administration and Operations team. You will interact with customers, engineers and designers of many interesting fields.
Based in Lane Cove West, you will be the first point of contact for all incoming calls, and visitors to head office, this role requires a high degree of professionalism and representation of the company brand.
Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
- Previous experience in office management, reception & operations
- Full Australian working rights
- Experience within Manufacturing, Logistics industry (Highly desirable)
- Proficient in MS Office 365 suite, SharePoint, Teams
- Elevated verbal and written communication skills to interact with staff, management, and customers.
- Skilled in identifying issues, evaluating potential solutions, and making informed decisions to resolve challenges promptly.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Commercial manager with administrative and operational tasks
- Take a lead role with customer support and direct enquiries or orders to the appropriate personnel.
- Oversee the administration team.
- Oversee staff events and office-wide initiatives that improve staff well being.
- Maintain a clean, organised and well-functioning office environment
- Audit staff timesheets and ensure payroll data is accurate
- Create and update business documents and internal policies
- Work with the team on purchase order management and office supply procurement
- Support HR tasks such as employee records, leave tracking and general coordination.
