The Role
Our Support Service Workers provide all hospitality aspects of our Aged Care home such as catering, cleaning and laundry services. You will build strong relationships with our residents, families and Care Staff contributing the optimisation of resident choice and essentially creating a strong sense of home in accordance with our values supporting our residents quality of life.

What you will do
- Preparation and presentation of dietary services, including meals and drinks
- Assisting the chef with meal preparation, cleaning and general kitchen duties
- Distribution of meals to residents & dining room services
- All aspects of cleaning throughout the resident rooms and facility
- Completing required documentation and reporting
- Ensure handwashing supplies are available and replenished
- Contribute to an effective laundry service including item checking & labelling
- Experience gained in a similar role, preferably within an Aged Care setting (not essential)
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Currently hold an NDIS Check (or willing to obtain)
- Please note - Covid Vaccinations are NO longer a requirement
- Must hold full rights to work within Australia
- An understanding of Resident Rights, Aged Care Accreditation Standards and Outcomes highly regarded but not essential
