We are seeking a Truck Driver to work out of our Emerald operation on a full-time basis. Our Cables Services operations take pride in knowing that we're shaping the future of the mining industry and keeping its workers safe.
This role is a not a FIFO or DIDO position you must reside in Emerald to be successful for this role.
Please also note a HR licence is mandatory for this position.
What you will do:
As a Truck Driver you will transport various sizes and types of electric cables, equipment, etc used in the mining, industrial and commercial sectors. This will involve:
- Transporting reeling, trailing and flexible cables
- Onsite Cable relocations
- Inducted on customer mine sites
- Liaising and interacting with customers
- Operation of specialty equipment
What are we looking for from you?
- HR licence - mandatory
- A forklift ticket – desirable
- The ability to obtain a QLD Coal Board medical is essential
- Strong hand tool and attention to detail skills
- Hold a high standard for appearance/ maintenance of our equipment and our company.
- Positivecustomer interaction and communication
- Understand safety comes first
- Ability to work flexible shifts
- Time management skills and setting your day up for success
- Great sense of humour and willingness to fit into a friendly, collaborative workplace that rewards hard work
