Description:

Property Network of Australia is seeking a Maintenance/Works Manager – Facilities Services to join a leading national provider of integrated facilities services. This company delivers high-quality solutions across a diverse portfolio of commercial, industrial, and government contracts, including sectors such as education, hospitality, and commercial properties.
This is a newly created role due to the continued growth of the company’s service delivery operations. We are seeking an individual with a strong background in facilities management or maintenance management, ideally gained within a facilities services, soft services, or integrated services environment.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in a facilities management or maintenance role within the service provider sector, with exposure to managing both client relationships and day-to-day operational delivery.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain strong working relationships with clients to ensure service delivery expectations are met and exceeded
  • Supervise and support a team of onsite maintenance staff and contractors across multiple contracts
  • Coordinate and oversee the delivery of reactive and preventative maintenance works
  • Manage the delivery of ad-hoc minor works and small project upgrades
  • Monitor contract compliance and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
  • Assist with reporting, budget tracking, and contractor management activities
  • Contribute to business development efforts where appropriate, including supporting new contract mobilisations
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients on day-to-day operational matters
The ideal candidate will have:
  • Previous experience in a facilities management or maintenance management role
  • Exposure to working in a management role within facilities services, soft services, or integrated services business
  • Strong interpersonal and client relationship management skills
  • Sound knowledge of building operations, compliance, and maintenance procedures
  • Proficiency with FM software systems and reporting tools
