Connect Resources is an industry-leading brand in civil construction in QLD, WA and NSW, supplying labour to contractors within the civil construction and asphalt spaces.We are currently seeking Asphalt Workers, Civil Concreters, and Machine Operators for multiple sites across the Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, and Brisbane . If you have experience in asphalt, concrete, or bitumen , we want to hear from you!
(Tickets and experience on the Roller, Bobcat and HR trucks would be highly beneficial.)
Duties:
- Work closely with roller operators to ensure the asphalt is compacted evenly/Operate the Roller yourself
- Maintain the correct slope and grade for drainage when asphalt is being poured
- Use levels, straightedges, or string lines to get right levels
- Ensure the asphalt mix is consistent and free of debris or contaminants.
- Ensure all necessary tools and materials are available on-site and ready for use.
- Assist in marking layout lines for paving to ensure accurate placement of asphalt according to project specs.
- 2+ years Asphalt/Civil Concrete industry experience
- A current drivers licence/vehicle
- Construction blue/white card.
- RII machine tickets beneficial - (Roller, Bobcat, HR and Excavator)
