Description:
About you
You learn and adapt quickly, but thoughtfully – if there’s a better way to do things you’ll suggest it and help implement it. You communicate with brevity, effectiveness and influence, and are collaborative, authentic, and trustworthy. You like for things to be well considered and planned, but are also comfortable to jump in and just get them done when needed.
You’re people focused and outcomes driven, and like to see real, tangible change from the ways you spend your time. You get energy from spending time with others, and while you’re confident in a teaching and presenting role, you’re just as capable behind the scenes making sure all the cogs are turning as they should.
We’re looking for an innovative, energetic, community minded facilitator and administrator who can take our education programs to the next level. You’ll be able to understand, interpret, and deliver content, make it your own, and adapt your tone and delivery to your audience with ease. You’re not afraid to show vulnerability and playfulness in front of a group, and you understand how to read a room and make every word count for the specific people in front of you.
About Enterprize’s Programs team
We teach founders, school students, and corporate leaders to be innovative and creative problem solvers, so every day and every program is different! If people are naturally drawn to you, and you often find yourself taking charge even when you didn’t expect to, our programs team is for you.
We like to bring our team into any part of the organisation that plays to their strengths, helps them achieve their personal development goals, and supports our small team to continue to work like a well oiled but very human machine too, so let us know what sparks your interest! Great Program Coordinators have a keen eye for detail, are strong communicators, and are adaptable and willing to jump in wherever needed.
Some of the projects you may be involved in include (but are not limited to):
Education Programs
- Presenting workshop content both digitally and in person for our full suite of programs
- Planning and facilitating sessions and events for programs
- Helping the team to identify new education program opportunities and helping us create them from scratch
Event Planning & Management
- Planning, hosting, and speaking at Enterprize events
- Setting up and packing down venues when required
Program Administration
- Automating and creating reliable processes for our program onboarding, partnership management, and other key program activities
- Supporting the team with day to day operations across all projects as needed
What you’ll get in return
- Support from a small, high performing team that’s honest and diverse
- Flexibility and work life balance actually taken seriously – this job is listed as full time, but if that doesn’t suit you, let us know what might!
- World class training in design thinking, ideation, community building, and lean startup
- Opportunity to work alongside startup founders in Hobart and Launceston (you can be based in either of our hubs!)
- Networking opportunities with business and government leaders
- Access to our Uprise Employee Assistance Program
The process from here
- Apply with a cover letter outlining why you’re perfect for the role we’ve just described.
- We’ll pick the best cover letters for the first shortlisting, which will involve answering a few brief questions via email.
- The applicants with the best answers will be asked to record a short video of themselves presenting educational content (we’ll provide the content!).
- Applicants with the best videos will be invited for an interview with our CEO and programs team
