This is a three (3) month fixed term, full-time position commencing Term 2, 2025 with possible extension and/or permanency.

The Role
As a successful applicant you will ideally have the opportunity to provide whole school leadership in managing student behaviour, attendance and engagement. You will ideally have a sound understanding of Department policies and relevant legislation and work collaboratively with other Student Services staff to implement intervention strategies and monitoring processes to support all students. Highly developed interpersonal skills and an ability to work effectively with staff, students, parents and the community to improve student engagement in learning is highly advantageous to this role.
You will ideally possess experience in case managing Students at Educational Risk (SAER). This should include a high level of knowledge of effective intervention, monitoring and reporting strategies. There is an associated responsibility to establish and manage administrative and operational systems in the relevant area of responsibility, to ensure the effective operation of your portfolio within the School, in accordance with Department policy and guidelines.
The successful applicant would provide direction and leadership to the Student Services team and should possess the skills to build capacity and cohesion with staff to implement and support whole school behaviour management processes. You will ideally be a leader who is focused on supporting student success through a positive approach to student health and wellbeing. Knowledge and experience of working with external agencies is advantageous.
